The Search Process
The successful search process begins and ends as a team effort, with communication as the critical element. Our consultants will be in contact with you on a regular basis and keep you informed of our progress. Your thoughts, ideas, and feedback will be expected and encouraged throughout the search.
Our assignment begins with a comprehensive review of your school district’s needs and expectations. Working closely with your board we develop a clear profile of the qualifications and background of the ideal candidate. Our consultants will work with you to develop an overall strategic plan and procedural guidelines, identify interview committees and set realistic timeframes for the search.
Using innovative and creative marketing strategies, print and electronic media, and the extensive resources of CABE, CABE Search Services is well positioned to attract qualified individuals. All candidates will be extensively screened by an experienced Human Resource professional. This ensures that your board’s valuable time and energy is focused on those candidates who are most closely matched with your district’s needs.
Where appropriate, following a review of candidates, interviews and site visits will be scheduled. CABE Search Services will assist throughout the entire candidate selection process. Our consultants can work with you to develop and implement a thorough transition plan to accommodate the transfer of leadership.
