Superintendent of Schools Vacancy – The Farmington (CT) Board of Education has engaged the services of the Connecticut Association of Boards of Education (CABE) Search Services to conduct its search for qualified candidates.
The Farmington Board of Education seeks a visionary, dynamic, and compassionate education leader who embodies authenticity, empathy, and a deep commitment to student success.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate: A proven record of leadership, innovation, and advocacy; A comprehensive understanding of educational issues, practices, and trends; A commitment to excellence in all aspects of education – academics, athletics, and whole child development; strong consensus-building skills and the ability to navigate complexity; A passion for cultivating growth through challenge and support; A broad and evolving vision of excellence and success in education; A visible and engaged presence in schools and the community; Strategic, deliberate, and forward-thinking leadership; Outstanding communication skills and the ability to inspire and connect; A genuine commitment to recognizing and celebrating the contributions of others; Experience advocating for schools and public education; and 093 certification (Connecticut Superintendent Certification)
