ACES EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR VACANCY – The ACES Governing Board seeks a visionary, dynamic and innovative education leader who embodies a deep commitment to a highly effective organization with a focus on student success.

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of educational issues, educational and contractual law, and effective practices,
  • Be committed to excellence in all aspects of education and whole child development, and
  • Hold 093 certification (Connecticut Superintendent Certification)

The ACES Governing Board has engaged the services of the Connecticut Association of Boards of Education (CABE) Search Services to conduct its search for qualified candidates.

Superintendent of Schools Vacancy – The Bethel (CT) Board of Education seeks a visionary, strategic, principled, vibrant and caring educational leader who inspires talented staff.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • A proven record of inspirational and effective leadership, Instructional leadership, including strong knowledge of special education and professional development,

  • In-depth knowledge of policy and regulation and strong determination to advocate for students and their educational needs,
  • An understanding of the fiscal constraints and Priorities of the community,

  • Ability to sustain a positive and supportive culture that fosters staff satisfaction, engagement, and retention,

  • The drive to sustain and build on momentum in Bethel for the long term, and
  • Possession of (or eligibility for) 093 Connecticut Superintendent Certification.
