We at CABE recognize that superintendents and board members are in uncharted territory in dealing with the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We recognize that you have had to and continue to make decisions that are not easy, but are in the best interest of your communities and that of the greater community.
As of 4:00 pm on Monday, March 16, CABE Staff will be working remotely indefinitely. We will, however, continue to work to meet the needs of our members.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic that is affecting districts in the state of Connecticut, CABE has decided to hold weekly meetings with all Board Chairs. The first meeting of the Board Chairs and CABE along with Fran Rabinowitz, Executive Director, CAPSS was held on Friday, March 20, 2020.

In an effort to facilitate conversations among Alliance District Board members and Superintendents, CABE held a virtual meeting on April 7, 2020.
We were joined by Nate Quesnel (East Hartford) and Paul Freeman (Guilford), co-chairs of the new Distance Learning Task Force, created when The Partnership for Connecticut announced that it would donate 60,000 laptops to Alliance Districts.
The first virtual meeting for Superintendents' Administrative Professionals was held on April 8, 2020.
