Marc Brackett, Ph.D., is founding director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence and Professor in the Child Study Center at Yale University. His grant-funded research focuses on (1) the role of emotions and emotional intelligence in learning, decision making, relationship quality, and mental health.

Cristal Glangchai, Ph.D., is a scientist, entrepreneur and mentor with a passion for developing the next generation of creative leaders and entrepreneurs. She founded VentureLab, a nonprofit organization that is helping create the next generation of innovators and changemakers through free and open source curriculum, entrepreneurship education programs, and teacher training.

Freeman Hrabowski, Ph.D.
Freeman A. Hrabowski, III, has served as President of UMBC (The University of Maryland, Baltimore County) since 1992. His research and publications focus on science and math education, with special emphasis on minority participation and performance. He chaired the National Academies’ committee that produced the 2011 report, Expanding Underrepresented Minority Participation: America’s Science and Technology Talent at the Crossroads.
