Outstanding Legislator Award

The criteria needed to be the recipient of the Outstanding Legislator Award is:

  1. Have through their long-standing efforts in the Connecticut General Assembly, made an outstanding contribution to public education in Connecticut;
  2. Have been in accord, generally, with CABE legislative positions;
  3. Have achieved high visibility in the education community; and
  4. Hold office as a Senator or Representative in the Connecticut General Assembly in September of the year of the award.

The CABE Outstanding Legislator Award has been presented to:
