THE ASSOCIATION
The Connecticut Association of Boards of Education (CABE), is Connecticut’s not-for-profit association of local and regional boards of education dedicated to serving the needs of local school districts. We are concerned with improving public education throughout the state and nation. CABE offers a wide array of information and management services to boards of education and their administrative teams. We also provide legal and negotiations services to boards and advocate their interests in Hartford and Washington, D.C. through a very active government relations program. THE JOURNAL
The CABE Journal is our major publication. It reaches virtually all board members, superintendents and business managers in Connecticut. It’s the only publication which does so on a regular basis. It is designed to encompass all material in an easy-to-read fashion. Readers of the CABE Journal find a wide range of topics covered in each issue. All CABE members receive the Journal free with their membership. DO YOU KNOW THAT: - Connecticut public schools spend $4 billion a year; - Connecticut school districts employ 40,000 staff members many of whom might require your company product or service; - Connecticut school districts serve over 500,000 students and some or many of them might need to know about you; - Connecticut school boards control 1,000 buildings, more than any other employer in the state; - The 166 Connecticut school districts are run by approximately 1450 local school board members who have control over how the school district’s money is spent. | WHY ADVERTISE IN THE JOURNAL?
